Family Pet Hospital is searching for a skilled veterinarian to lead our companion animal practice in Topeka, Kansas. Topeka is a family-friendly community located about an hour west of Kansas City, MO.

As our current Medical Director plans his retirement, you will have the opportunity to take over a hospital that has been a staple in our community since 1995. In this role you will also build upon our hospital’s current strengths, while elevating our services and encouraging new business ideas.

We’re searching for:

• Strong leadership skills
• 5+ years of current, hands-on, clinical experience
• Especially skilled in small animal surgery
• Veterinarian who trusts their technician and support teams
• Love for teaching and a willingness to mentor others
• Commitment to lifelong learning and staying on top of the latest industry developments/tools
• Eager to build relationships with our small town, community-driven client base

We’re also willing to train an experienced DVM who is aspiring to become a Medical Director and is eager to develop their leadership skills.

As our Medical Director, you’ll help build out our services and oversee all policies/procedures, ensuring our hospital exceeds expectations and medical standards. This is a full-time, Monday-Saturday role (4 days a week minimum, rotating Saturdays).
