Foothill Farms Veterinary Hospital is looking to welcome an Associate DVM to our growing, multi-doctor practice in Sacramento, California. We believe in providing Fear Free services (for people and patients) and are an excellent choice for happy, compassionate, and friendly individuals.

Experience and qualifications:

We’re open to veterinarians of all experience levels, including recent graduates. We have always focused on growth and our current doctors love to teach and welcome learning opportunities, regardless of skill level. Top consideration will be given to veterinarians who are passionate about vetmed, have a strong work ethic, and enjoy team collaboration. Must be licensed (or able to become licensed) in California for consideration.

Scheduling and typical workflow:

This is a full-time role comprised of flexible, four- or five-day scheduling. There are no on-call or after hour emergency responsibilities in this role. We typically have 2-doctor days, with one performing surgeries in the morning, followed by appointments, and the second doctor in appointments all day. Our weekend hours are primarily appointments, with the exception of a dental. P.S. our RVTs are heavily utilized, especially for dentistry! Our team has moved away from intensive/emergency surgeries; however, we have great relationships with a many outside specialists and have an orthopedics suite for advanced procedures. We do provide alternative services such as acupuncture, cold laser, and Reiki.
