Western Veterinary Partners (WVP) is a private equity-backed company that acquires, invests in, and supports veterinary practices and animal hospitals throughout the Western United States. WVP is a highly acquisitive company focused on continued growth and expansion across the country. Post-acquisition, WVP supports its partner practices with the non-clinical side of the business by providing industry proven non-clinical business support services.
We are expanding our payroll team and seeking a payroll professional who understands the unique factors involved in processing payroll for hundreds of locations over 40 states for our high-growth, fast-paced veterinary company. The payroll team at WVP is a critical function tightly integrated with all other departments and actively participates in the high-volume acquisition process. The successful candidate will be a flexible, hands-on, team player with a “no job too big or too small” mentality. They will enjoy a fast-paced environment, problem solving, love to reinvent and reimagine processes, and be highly communicative with internal and external customers.
This is a hybrid role based in central Denver.

Our salary ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $120,000 annually. The range provided for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The Company offers competitive compensation along with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision benefits, vacation, sick leave, 401(k), and more depending on location. For positions based in Colorado, WVP provides eligible employees with paid sick and safe leave and public health emergency leave in accordance with the requirements of Colorado's Healthy Families and Workplaces Act.
